Dear friends of Sounds
True,
For nearly two decades,
I've been a producer at Sounds True, working with spiritual teachers from
all the world’s traditions. It's shamanism that has called me back time
and time again, inviting me to experience the spirit guidance that this
path of direct revelation offers us.
I've found shamans the
world over to be grounded, joyous, and free, both deeply immersed in
ordinary life and able to access the powers of the unseen world for the
good of their communities and the planet.
I've come to believe
that shamanism is not only the root spiritual tradition of all our human
ancestors, but also the path perfectly suited to offer the healing and
connection that our contemporary culture and the world around us needs
most in this time of crisis.
How can we begin to
access spirit guides and helpers, and develop trust in our own intuitive
guidance? Why is ceremony such a powerful force for communal connection
and gratitude? What does shamanism say about the causes and cures of
physical and psychological illness? How can we access the
transformational potential of traditional plant medicines for personal
healing?
Sounds True's Power of Shamanism summit will explore answers to
these questions and more. In this 10-day live video summit running
February 26 through March 7, we will have the opportunity to experience
transformative teachings with shamans and healers from around the world.
